1) Assignment of the Project Manager
Depending on the language combination, speciality and technical difficulty,
we assign a Manager to each specific client or project. This helps us shorten
communication lines and clients only have to deal with one contact.
2) Analysis of the original documents to be translated
The Project Manager is responsible for analysing the documents received
from the client to assign the necessary human and technical resources. This
helps us ensure that our quality standards and deadlines are met.
3) Translation
Following the preliminary analysis, the translation process itself is started.
As well as appropriate university training (Translation or Philology graduates),
the assigned translators always work in their mother tongue and are specialised
in the specific area of the text to be translated.
4) Proofreading
Once the translation is complete, the proofreaders (always different translators
who were not involved in the previous stage) are responsible for checking
the linguistic and cultural adaptation of the translated text.
5) Desktop Publishing
Given the complex nature of the formats in which the documents are presented,
it is often necessary to revise these formats and the layout of the information.
It is also sometimes necessary to edit images with translatable text. In short,
a correct layout is essential (giving translated documents the same appearance
as the originals).
6) Final control and delivery to the client
The Project Manager will carry out a final control to ensure the different
stages of the process have been undertaken correctly and will give his/her
authorisation for the translation to be sent to the client.
